Meet Audrey & George!

George is Audrey's service dog and first-born child. As such, he's super spoiled and has a large collection of accessories to help him do his job, but also survive life in Boston as a 7lb Yorkie.

Audrey asked me to design and build an organizer for his belongings that would make access to every day items easier, be compact in accordance with apartment life, and would be easy to install, uninstall, and move from place to place as their life progressed.

Audrey's Review, 4 years in

Pros :

- two cubbies

- multiple types of hooks

- not heavy

- nice hooking/hanging

- easy to hang / move

- easy to clean

Cons:

- size of hooks - wish for a greater variety, especially more of the white ones

- depth/width of each cubby could vary; depth/width of top is too big

- sides of wood need to be edged

- size of dowel hooks is a bit too wide/could be further apart

Next Steps

- Sanding the piece down and doing another coat of paint and coats of sealant (sanding between)

- Edge-band all the pieces to hide the plywood edges

- Carve grooves in the dowel pieces to help objects stay hung to the dowels
